Consider these facts in deciding if Medicare Supplement insurance for hospital and medical coverage is right for you:

• Medicare does not cover all health care bills.
• Medicare has deductibles and co-payments for some services.
• The insured is responsible for paying the costs of services not
  covered by Medicare.

Medicare Supplement plans have higher fixed costs and do not include coverage for drug costs. If you are a high utilizer of services then this might be the best type of plan for you. Otherwise we would probably recommend a Medicare Advantage plan with lower fixed costs and chosen with your needs in mind.
